Please find below the terms and conditions of the Microsoft Office 2010 Upgrade Program:

2. The Eligibility Period (Purchase & Activate) is between: 5 March 2010 –
September 2010
3. The Redemption Period will be after the 31 October 2010
4. The Upgrade will apply to both OEM/DSP and Full Packaged (Retail) Products
The Qualifying Office 2007 Product will be upgraded to the following applicable 2010 product:
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 to Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010
Microsoft Office Basic 2007 to Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010
Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 to Microsoft Office Professional 2010
Microsoft Office Professional 2007 to Microsoft Office Professional 2010
Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 to Microsoft Office Professional 2010
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Program, end users must purchase a qualifying Office 2007 MLK (or Full Packaged Product (FPP), or a preinstalled license) and must activate that product within the specified eligibility period. There is nothing that System Builders need to provide to their customers to ensure eligibility. System Builders should simply notify their customers of the Program and provide a link to the web site for redemption.
• End users must then visit the Technology Guarantee web site where they will
be asked to provide the following information
- Date of Office 2007 purchase.
- Office 2007 Product Key (must have been activated within the Program eligibility dates).
- Windows Live ID (to enable end users to revisit the site). End users will be provided the option to create a new Windows Live ID if they do not already have one. It is important to note that the end user will not be required to have a Windows Live email address, just a Windows Live ID, which can be created with any email alias.
- Name of OEM from whom the end user purchased the qualifying PC.
- Some additional end user information may be required.
• Additional eligibility criteria:
- End users are limited to 25 Office 2010 Technology Guarantee licenses per Windows Live ID.
- Offer applies only to initial purchase or acquisitions of qualifying Office 2007 product.
- No refunds or returns on software downloaded and/or ordered on physical media through the Office 2010 Technology Guarantee Program.
- End users will have access to Microsoft's Privacy Policy on the site and will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions.
